Who are we?

We are the Birmingham Clarion Singers, established in 1940, and continuing into the twenty first Century with songs and music from a long established workers' tradition. We have a wide repetoire, from folk to classical, from ballads to African choral works.

We are proud to present this web site as a living record of the choir - its history, its achievements and other information.

It is a work in progress, so please keep coming back to see more pages as they are developed!

We welcome contact from people who are interested in what we do, and from those of you who might be able to tell us more about the choir's past.

The site has been constructed with assistance from the Local Heritage Initiative.

Special thanks to Neil Smith and Alan Muscat for their incredible support and enthusiasm in helping to build and maintain this site.
